Metropolis Movies in The Park - 2012
Ft. Massac State Park, Harrah's Metropolis Casino & Hotel and Southern Illinois Tourism Network have partnered together to bring FREE showings of some of your favorite movies this summer in the park!
All shows will begin at 8pm. Bring out your lawn chairs, picnic blankets or other seats to the park beginning at 7pm.
Concessions will be provided by the MCHS Cheerleading Team. All sales of concessions will benefit their group.
Showings are as follows:
-Friday, May 25th - We Bought A Zoo
-Friday, June 8th - That Thing You Do! (Oldies Night)
-Friday, July 13th - RIO
-Friday, August 10th - The Man From Snowy River
-Friday, September 14th - Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Some things to consider:
~Don't forget your seat! Blankets, lawn chairs, etc. No drive in accessibility. Parking only.
~Bug repellent - welcome to Southern Illinois :)
~Clean up - please respect the park by cleaning up your own trash.
~Bathrooms - will be available
~COMMUNITY EVENT - come out and enjoy your neighbors!
